That chicken from Whole Foods isn’t so special anymore

The food revolution is real. So real that a lot of the American grocery industry has beefed up its poultry standards and, in turn, narrowed the gap between what’s sold at stores like Whole Foods and what’s sold at large and discount supermarkets. Big poultry producer Perdue, for example, has converted 95 percent of its poultry production to antibiotic-free. New bottle for kombucha brand quadruples company’s production rates

Kombucha is riding the wave of functional beverage success. Fort Worth, Texas-based Holy Kombucha uses organic ingredients in its concoctions, including specialty tea blends, but turned to packaging to really differentiate itself in the category. It worked with Berlin Packaging on a 16.9 ounce custom glass bottle that’s slimmer and taller so that it fits in car cupholders, and features a wider neck that makes it easier for consumers to drink and faster for the company to fill. Read more at Packaging World…
