Organic snack maker Gorilly Goods sells 51% stake

Nature's Path, North America's largest organic breakfast and snack company, has acquired a majority interest in raw snack company Gorilly Goods. Currently, Gorilly distributes its products in the Midwest, but the investment will allow it to triple its capacity and expand distribution. NBTY promises genetic testing of its herbal supplements

Following an investigation by the New York Attorney General last year, NBTY has agreed to do advanced DNA bar code testing to confirm the authenticity of the ingredients it uses in its herbal products.
