AccentHealth, America's largest Health Education TV Network, with award winning programming provided by CNN, announced today that Daniel A. Stone has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board.
Stone will be responsible for leading the continued growth of the Company's network and expansion of its services for leading pharmaceutical, health and wellness, and CPG marketers.
"I am excited to assume leadership of AccentHealth. The Company sits at the cross section of digital media and healthcare and is poised for explosive growth," said Stone. "The AccentHealth network works because it is highly targeted, effective, measurable and reaches millions of consumers at the point-of-care where they are most inclined to be focused on their health."
AccentHealth was acquired by private equity investors M/C Venture Partners and BAML Capital in September 2008.

Most recently, Stone served as President and CEO of Imaginova, a venture-backed digital media and ecommerce company focused on science and technology. Prior to joining Imaginova, Stone was General Manager, Global Media & Entertainment of Scient Corp, a leading ebusiness services company. Previously, he served in various executive roles at Turner Broadcasting System, most recently as EVP, Operations and Business Development for TBS International where he was responsible for developing Turner's network and internet properties around the world. Earlier, he was the head of Turner Interactive Marketing and Sales and a founder of the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB). Stone received an MBA from ColumbiaBusinessSchool and a B.S. in Economics from the WhartonSchool of the University of Pennsylvania.
Stone succeeds Richard Ruth, AccentHealth's co-founder, who is stepping down after fifteen years with the Company.
