Barbara Apps Joins Aloecorp as Director of Business Development

Lacey, WA – August 22, 2006: Aloecorp, the world’s leading vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier of bioactive Aloe vera fine ingredients, has announced the hiring of Barbara Apps as Director of Business Development. Apps will be responsible for all aspects of Aloecorp’s global business development, and will focus on pursuing new markets and proprietary ingredient opportunities. Apps, who formerly consulted with Aloecorp, is a seasoned nutrition and health industry veteran.

Apps has been developing and marketing natural and organic healthcare products for almost 20 years. Since launching her career with The Dial Corporation, she has held senior marketing and product development positions in some of the largest and most innovative consumer products companies and suppliers in the industry, including Pharmavite (launching Nature’s Resource®), Pharmanex, Coromega and Herbalife. Most recently, she re-launched and managed the Diamond Lotus essential oil and spa line from the organic herb farm owned by actor Steven Seagal.
