B&D Nutritional Ingredients, Inc. Announces New Appointment for Rebecca S. Niehus

Vista, California (February 15, 2007) — Rebecca Niehus has been named Senior Product Manager for B&D Nutritional Ingredients. Mrs. Niehus joined B&D in 2004 and most recently served as Account Manager for the Western United States. Prior to joining B&D, she had sales and management roles for Daiichi Fine Chemicals and Ashland Inc.’s Fine Ingredient Division. She received a Master of Business Administration from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University.

In December, B&D announced a structural strategy designed to support its principals individually by assigning Product Managers to each vendor. “Our Product Managers integrate the various segments of a business into a strategically focused whole, maximizing the value of a product by coordinating the production of an offering with an understanding of market needs. Our Product Managers oversee all aspects of a product in order to create and deliver superior customer satisfaction while simultaneously providing long-term value for our principals” explained Bill Van Dyke, President, B&D Nutritional Ingredients.
