LONG BEACH, Calif., May 14, 2008 - BI Nutraceuticals today announced the hiring of Carolyn Micheli as Midwest Regional Sales Manager. In this position, Micheli will be in charge of growing sales and expanding the company's customer base in the Midwest region.

Micheli joins BI from Watson Inc., where she served as Midwest Sales Manager for the company's nutritional division, in charge of identifying, acquiring and growing key accounts, as well as interfacing with product development, customer service and R&D teams to create pre-mixes for nutritional beverages, foods and supplements. She additionally served as Territory Sales Manager for Capsugel, where she oversaw a team of customer service and sales support staff in identifying business opportunities and increasing sales in the Midwest. Carolyn also previously worked as Regional Sales Manager for the Nutritional Products division of Ashland Chemical, Inc. and District Sales Manager for Gilroy Foods, a division of ConAgra. She holds an MBA in Marketing, as well as a B.S. in Food Science & Business Administration from Dominican University in River Forest, Ill.
