BI Nutraceuticals Promotes Quang La to Materials Manager and Relocates Mike Swenson to Their Suzhou China Operations

LONG BEACH, Calif., June 25, 2007 - BI Nutraceuticals today announced the promotion of Quang La to Materials Manager. In this position, La will be responsible for overseeing the raw material purchasing departments for BI's offices in Long Beach, Calif. and Islandia, N.Y. He will work closely with Mike Swenson, vice president of global sourcing, who will be relocating to China to manage the company's newly launched 75,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Suzhou.

Quang has been with BI Nutraceuticals for more than three years working as a raw material buyer. Prior to joining BI, La worked for Dermalogica, a skin care product manufacturer. He holds a bachelor's of science degree in finance from California State University Long Beach and is currently pursuing his MBA with a concentration in international business from Webster University.
