She explained that Chicago is home to two major league baseball teams, the Cubs and the White Sox, and attendees are encouraged to vote on their favorite by selecting cookies with team logos to boost the “score” which will be tallied daily. One lucky raffle winner will receive a Chicago Cubs jersey signed by star infielder Ryan Theriot.

Cognis‘ innovative new products and concepts at IFT are the natural implementation of the company’s “Newtritionstrategy. Last year, Cognis obtained regulatory success in China where Tonalin® CLA now has Novel Foods approval.”

In addition to growing regulatory approval, she pointed out that consumer demand for science-based natural ingredients is also driving interest in Cognis products and concepts.
