Curt Hale Joins Embria Health Sciences as Quality Manager

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, January 21, 2008 - Embria(R) Health Sciences, a raw material manufacturer of science-backed natural ingredients for the human nutrition market, announced today the appointment of Curt Hale as the company's quality manager. Reporting to Embria's vice president of scientific affairs, Larry Robinson, Ph.D., Hale will ensure that the company's manufacturing processes comply with appropriate quality standards. He will also develop and implement a comprehensive quality program that meets or exceeds all industry, government, and international regulatory requirements.

Hale has over three decades of quality experience, including more than 20 years with General Mills. He has also served as a consultant in the areas of food safety, allergens, entomology and as an examiner for the Baldrige National Quality Award.
