Cyvex Nutrition Appoints Matt Phillips As New President and COO

IRVINE, Calif., March 10, 2008 - Gilbert Gluck, Founder and CEO of Cyvex Nutrition announced that Matt Phillips has been appointed as President and COO of the company. In this newly created position, Phillips is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities as well as leading efforts to achieve the long-term goals of continued growth and expansion of the venerable company.

Matt Phillips joins Cyvex Nutrition after an 11-year career with BI Nutraceuticals, where he held several senior positions and was responsible for creating and sustaining the significant growth in the botanical powder division. Phillips has extensive sales, marketing and operations management experience in the dietary supplement, food and beverage industries. He is recognized for his customer-focused leadership, problem solving capabilities and leadership development programs. Phillips holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA.
