Dillon to Head Decas Cranberry Products, Inc.

Decas Cranberry Products, Inc. of Carver, MA announces the appointment of Charles B. Dillon as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Dillon will replace Jeffrey Carlson as President and CEO on January 1st, 2010 when Mr. Carlson, the current President and CEO, retires. Mr. Carlson will continue to work with the company in a consulting role.

Mr. Dillon has a 30 plus year career in the food industry with extensive experience in consumer packaged goods. His experience covers the retail and commercial business segments of the supply chain and he has managed companies in manufacturing and distribution with domestic and international sales. Since 1990, Mr. Dillon has led 4 different companies as President and CEO, Division President and COO. He began his career with General Mills, Inc. in brand management and sales. He holds a BA in Economics from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the University Of Chicago.

Decas Cranberry Products, Inc. is an 80-year-old, vertically-integrated grower, handler, processor and marketer of cranberry and cranberry based ingredient products with sales throughout the U.S., Europe, the Far East and Southeast Asia. Decas processes over 50 million pounds of cranberries each year.
