(OJAI, CA) August 31, 2006 – Best-selling nutrition author Julia Ross will be one of keynote speakers for the upcoming NNFA-West Healthy Harvest Show at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA. Ross, the best-selling author of “The Diet Cure” and “The Mood Cure,” will speak on the topic of “Breaking Food Addictions with Nutritional Therapy.” She will deliver her keynote address on Saturday, September 16, 2006, at 6:00 p.m.
A pioneer in the field of nutritional psychology and a specialist in the treatment of eating disorders and addictions, Ross holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and is the executive director of The Recovery Systems Clinic in Mill Valley, CA. The renowned outpatient clinic which she founded in 1988 has a special focus on treating people with dieting disorders and carbohydrate addictions. Ross has made hundreds of presentations to introduce the public to the extraordinary benefits of nutrient therapy and biochemical rebalancing.
In addition to Ross, natural products experts in such areas as retailing, law, food service, technology and employment practices will speak during the NNFA-West Healthy Harvest Show Fresh Perspectives education day. The Fresh Perspectives education day sessions will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2006. The show’s exhibit floor will be open on September 16-17, 2006.
The Healthy Harvest Show is hosted by NNFA-West, the regional association representing natural products retailers and industry members located in California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.
