A look at cartons on this Earth Day

Ask about cartons back in the day and thoughts of school lunch milk popped into one's head, along with milk and orange juice containers that, when empty, turned into creative birdhouses.

Today, cartons can be found in most aisles of the grocery store filled with soups and broths galore, alternative milks of all sorts and even water (bye-bye bottles)—good old fashion H2O, not just coconut water.
