A roundup of announcements from natural product companies this week, including Tessemae's expands Whole Foods partnership, and new products from Doctor's Best and Kashi.

Doctor's Best introduced two new heart health supplements--Artery Prime™ with MenaQ7® and Heart Prime™ with KD-PUR® EPA--to its dietary supplement line. 

INFAT, the ingredient that is marketed by Advanced Lipids, a joint venture of AAK and Enzymotec, was granted a patent by the Singaporean Patent and Trademark Office for uses related to promoting development of beneficial gut flora and reducing infant crying.

To support anticipated growth in demand for current and new products, PIVEG Inc. completed a 40,000 square foot expansion to one of its several factories located in Mexico.

Frutarom Health BU expanded its offering of natural pharmaceutical ingredients with the recent acquisition of Vitiva d.d.
