The National Nutritional Foods Association East Region hired Walter Friesendorf as its executive director. Friesendorf?s previous experience includes serving as manager for nutraceuticals manufacturer Biosan Laboratories, as well as magazine and newsletter publishing. The region also announced its nominations for officers, including Adrienne Mastrobattista as president, Jay Jacobowitz as treasurer and Bob Norman as secretary. Elections will be held at Natural Products Expo East, Washington D.C., and are tentatively scheduled for Friday evening, Oct. 15.

Good Health Natural Foods announced the addition of Rick Williams as Western regional sales manager of the Northport, N.Y.-based company. Good Health also named Randy Markle as Midwest regional sales manager.
