Solgar Welcomes Industry Expert; Karl Riedel Named President

Karl Riedel has been named President of Solgar Vitamin and Herb. With more than 25 years experience in the Natural Products Industry, Riedel will be responsible for overseeing U.S. and international business operations for this premium brand. Prior to joining Solgar, Riedel was President of Nature’s Life. Riedel has also been a frequent speaker at industry trade conferences on issues from marketing to regulatory compliance.

An industry expert, Riedel held several key positions at the Natural Products Association where he served four terms as a member of the Board of Directors, was Founder and Chair of the International Committee, and was a 16-year member of the Committee for Product & Label Integrity. Riedel has also been a member of and long-time adviser to many industry associations including Citizens for Health, the American Herbal Products Association, and the International Alliance of Dietary Supplement Associations.
