SunOpta Inc., today announced that as a result of new personal commitments which will prevent him from serving as a Director of public corporations, Mr. Robert Fetherstonhaugh has resigned as a Director of the Company, effective November 24, 2008. Mr. Fetherstonhaugh has been a member of the Board of Directors since September 2001.
