GeeFree, maker of frozen, gluten-free puff pastry products, is branching out into the foodservice industry with its line of appetizers, pastry dough sheets, pot pies, sandwich pockets and mini apple turnovers.

It's the return of what Amplify Snack Brands' Paqui Chips calls "the world's hottest tortilla chip," the Paqui Carolina Reaper Madness. This year's version is 25 percent hotter than last year's, the company says. It's seasoned with Carolina Reaper peppers and sold in a coffin-shaped box. 

Foodstirs Modern Baking has expanded into more than 7,500 physical retail stores across the U.S. and is unveiling four new SKUs: Organic Snickerdoodle Blondie Mix, Organic Very Merry Gingerbread Cookie Mix, Organic Chocolate Chippy Pumpkin Bread Mix and Organic Pumpkin Spice Stacks Pancake Mix. The brand uses heirloom, identity-preserved flour, Biodynamic sugar and fair trade chocolate. 

Five new vegan products from Field Roast are hitting the market, including three frozen snacks—Miniature Corn Dogs, Fruffalo Wings and Sunflower Katsu Cutlet—and two Mac n' Chao products—creamy and chili varieties. 

Garden of Life teamed up with best-selling author Robyn O'Brien to celebrate Non-GMO Month and the importance of clean nutrition with a pop-up "garden experience" in the heart of New York City. At the free experiential event, O'Brien helped distribute samples of its Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein & greens.

new line of vegan beanies from Love Your Melon, an apparel brand dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children battling cancer, includes a faux leather patch made in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The new line includes eight different color of both beanies and cuffed beanies, retailing at $30.

Neurella Labsnew brain health supplement was created by neurologists focused on optimal cognitive health. It's a 12-ingredient supplement anchored by the ingredient Cognizin Citicoline to nourish the brain and support neural networks. It also includes the ingredients Huperzine A, turmeric root extract and grape skin extract.

Vanilla supplier Solvay announced via press release that it will increase its vanillin and ethyl-vanillin prices by 15 percent across North America because of increases in raw material, energy and transportation costs.

Lipton goes organic with the launch of new Lipton Organic Black Team, made with organic and Rainforest Allicance certified black tea leaves from the Kenyan highlands. The SRP is $4 per 72-count box.

German-based health and wellness supplement company ALP Nutrition announced the release of a new weight loss supplement, ALP Carnitin, a liquid food supplement that contains the amino acid L-carnitin plus antioxidants, vitamins C and E, and a phytonutrient-enriched herbal extract called ALP Phyto. It is vegetarian and vegan friendly. 

Argo Tea is partnering with Whole Foods Market to launch a line of ready-to-drink cold brew single-estate bottled teas. This month, the company will begin the rollout of the following flavors: First Flush Darjeeling (made with organic and biodynamic darjeeling black tea from the Ambootia Tea Garden in India), First Flush Gyokuro (made from organic gyokuro green tea from the Yamaguich Tea Estate in Japan) and Armenian Mint (made from organic peppermint tea harvested from Central Europe & the Mediterranean Basin).

With eight years of sales management experience in the natural products industry, Melissa Leffingwell joins Bioforce USA's management team as Western regional sales director, where she will focus on key accounts and business development for expanding distribution for the Bioforce USA portfolio of six European brands including Annemarie Borlind, A.
