Organic Valley introduced 6 oz., single-serve Grassmilk Yogurt Cups in four varieties: Strawberry, Wild Blueberry, Plain and Vanilla. 

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued Physician Recommended Nutriceuticals a method patent for their omega-3 nutriceutical formulation. This is the second patent awarded to PRN in less than a year on its PRN Dry Eye Omega Benefits nutriceutical product. 

Yumbutter, which features GanedenBC30 probiotics in one of its SKUs, is adding additional retail locations to its nationwide reach. The probiotic products will be launching in two Safeway regions by September: Northern California and the Rocky Mountain region. Yumbutter’s Plant Protein + Probiotic Almond Butter was launched alongside two other brand new potions in March.

The organic plant-based beverage MALK Organics has expanded to more than 1,500 stores in 24 states. It comes in six flavors—Unsweetened Almond, Vanilla Almond, Maple Pecan, Unsweetened Cashew, Chocolate Pecan and Pecan Cold Brew. Whole Foods Market will soon carry exclusive flavors, while Kroger will offer its customers the three original flavors (Unsweetened Almond, Vanilla Almond, Maple Pecan).

Angelic Bakehouse has a new specialty deli line called Bread Crisps, marking its entry into the snack category. There are three varieties: 7-grain with sea salt, rye with sea salt and honey wheat with raising and sea salt. All are Non-GMO Project verified and certified kosher.

Health Canada issued a Product License to Sabinsa for a significant health claim on LactoSpore Balance: “Helps relieve abdominal pain associated with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).” The strain is LactoSpore MTCC 5856.

Bare Snacks announced a new line of bare Organic Coconut Chips—an extension of its existing line of coconut chips—in three flavors: Toasted, Sweet Ginger and Coffee Bean.

French supplier FYTEXIA enters sports nutrition with four new ingredients: PerfLoad (a performance-enhancing system based on extracts of grape, pomegranate and green tea); BurnToRun (a combination of citrus fruits, L-carnitine and guarana seeds to support endurance capacity); TensLess (a recovery accelerator composed of elderberry, mangosteen and pomegranate fruit extracts); and HolisFiit (a solution to maximize the body-mind benefits of wellness-oriented activities such as yoga or Pilates).

Jovium, a brand dedicated to developing natural products that help to achieve a better emotional balance, has announced it is releasing its new Inner Balance probiotic blend supplement to add to its line and help people better manage stress, depression, anxiety and other mental health conditions.
