This week: The GFB branches out with breakfasts | Amazing Grass brings back seasonal powders

The GFB: Gluten Free Bar, is branching out with a new line of breakfast foods. GFB Power Breakfasts are high-protein, just-add-water oatmeals with no added sugar and come in five varieties—Coconut Cashew; Fruits, Nuts and Seeds; PB+J; Apple Cinnamon and Maple Raisin. Each is Non-GMO Project verified, certified vegan, soy-free, dairy-free and certified gluten-free. 

Family-owned Canadian snack company Prana announced via press release that it is bringing its vegan trail mixes, chocolate bark and chia products to U.S. retailers. Prana is a B Corporation, and all of its products are 100 percent organic, gluten-free certified and free of preservatives. 

Amazing Grass is bringing back its holiday-inspired Green SuperFood blends in Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Peppermint and Holiday Cookie flavors. The powders feature organic greens, nutritious fruits and vegetables, and a prebiotic and probiotic digestive blend. Suggested retail price is $29.99 per 30-serving canister.

Through Naturex's open innovation program, it's collaborating with India-based Olene to bring to market Gingest, a highly standardized ginger extract powder for natural digestive health applications. It was developed using Olene's patented technology Aqueosome, which makes it possible to obtain ginger oleoresin powder while retaining a high level of standardization of active compounds (greater than 26 percent), according to the companies.

Focalis Nutrition partnered with Uniwell Laboratories to develop a new stimulant-free brain health supplement, Focalis, that features Cognizin, whole green coffee powder and huperzine A.
