Workshop addresses operations, supply chain issues for natural product companies

Two-day workshop will cover formulation, procurement, co-packers, inventory and production planning, transportation and logistics and more.

The Natural Products Consulting Institute has partnered with JPG Resources to offer a two-day seminar and networking event on operations and supply chain for natural and specialty product companies.

This two day workshop covers all aspects of “back of the house” activities, including formulation, procurement, sourcing and managing co-packers, inventory and production planning, transportation and logistics, getting verified Non-GMO certified, and more.

There will also be ample time to address individual company issues and challenges by the presenters and peers in the room. There will also be ample networking opportunities throughout the day and at the cocktail party following. Presentations and participant contact info will be provided to all attendees on a CD.

The seminar will be led by Bob Burke and John Maggiore, who have partnered with Jeff Grogg of JPG Resources. Jeff was formerly head of R&D at Kashi, including Bear Naked and Stretch Island. Since founding JPGR consultancy in 2009, Jeff and his team have launched more than 80 successful new food and beverage items, as well as helped dozens of companies improve their supply chain, reduce costs, boost profits and accelerate growth.

We have also invited accomplished experts to speak on sourcing, co-manufacturing, transportation and logistics as well as product certifications.

The seminar will be held in New York City at Nixon Peabody LLP, located at 437 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10022.

The seminar price is $1,199, but if you register by September 30 it is only $999.

Additional people from the same company can take additional $100 off of the early bird price if they register before September, 2015.

Valued sponsors include: Nixon Peabody LLP, Force Brands, Ignite Sales Management, and Silverwood Partners, Investment Bankers.
