LEHI, UT—January 11, 2007— XanGo, LLC, creator of the mangosteen beverage category is pleased to announce the following new hire and promotions.
Sandy Coleman has been hired as vice president of logistics at XanGo. Coleman will oversee the international operations group and distribution center streamlining processes and procedures. Prior to joining XanGo, Coleman worked as VP of Operations for another direct sales company. He received his bachelor’s degree in ceramic engineering from Ohio State University and his master’s of business administration degree from Brigham Young University.
Scott Smith has been promoted to Chief Information Officer (CIO) at XanGo. Over the past year as vice president of information technology, Smith has orchestrated technological advancements to keep pace with XanGo’s phenomenal and industry record growth. Under Smith’s direction, the company has implemented several web tools allowing the company to expand into several international markets. He received his master’s of business administration degree from Brigham Young University.
Craig Johanson has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Johanson will oversee brand strategy and product promotion. As a member of the President’s Team, he serves on a cross-functional advisory task force that formulates strategies and solutions for XanGo’s Board of Directors. He received his bachelor’s degree from Boise State University and his master’s degree from Utah State University.
Tai Tolman has been promoted to general manager of Southeast Asia. Tolman has worked to expand the XanGo Hong Kong and Philippines markets and will relocate to Singapore to focus on continued growth and development. He will also continue to manage distributor and company relationships throughout Southeast Asia. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
