Our Little Rebellion created a new supply chain for non-GMO corn chips

Transitioning its product line to non-GMO corn was no easy task, requiring the Our Little Rebellion team to roll up their sleeves and dive deep in the U.S. corn market.

Committed to sustainable ingredient sourcing and quality ingredients, the CEO of Our Little Rebellion—best known for its popular PopCorners crunchy popped corn chips—set out on a mission to create its products from non-GMO corn. This wasn’t an easy task, considering more than 95 percent of the corn grown in the United States in genetically modified. The company partnered with 60 family farmers in Nebraska to build a supply chain that could provide it with several million pounds of non-GMO corn annually. The company shares its story on packaging, at community events and in a social media campaign called the Corn Revolution.
