Congress Establishes CAM Caucus

The Complementary and Alternative Medicine and Natural Foods Caucus (CAMNF) has recently been formed by Sens. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) along with Reps. Dan Burton (R-Ind) and Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio). The mission of the caucus is to offer an opportunity for members of Congress to learn about the growing role of complementary and alternative health practices as well as natural foods in improving the health and well-being of millions of Americans. Plans for the CAMNF include seminars on policy issues, on specific therapies, and on advances in research.
