Herb Harvest
The American Herbal Products Association's second annual survey of North American wild and cultivated herb harvests shows considerable increases from 1997 to 1998, followed by a reduction in 1999. Goldenseal, considered a threatened species in the wild, saw a significant shift from wildcrafted to cultivated.
