Homeopathy Is No Cure For Anthrax

In response to questions regarding the use of homeopathy to treat anthrax (Bacillus anthracis) and anthracinum (Anthrax nosode), the American Association of Homeopathic Pharmacists has issued a position statement that, "It is absolutely inappropriate for a homeopathic drug product to be sold over-the-counter (OTC) while being promoted—in any way—for any infectious disease."

There are no clinical trials in the published scientific literature to support the use of homeopathic medicine for these infectious diseases. Current literature specifically supports the OTC sale of homeopathic Anthracinum HPUS solely for vesicular skin eruptions.
