Aker BioMarine hires new vice president of sales

Aker BioMarine, a leading supplier of krill-derived products to the consumer health and wellness and animal nutrition markets, has hired Rick Kaiser as vice president of sales for Aker BioMarine Antarctic US. He was formerly the vice president of sales for Natreon.

Rick started his career in pharmaceutical sales and territory management. In the mid-1990s he transitioned industries and joined a patented ingredient supplier in the dietary supplement space called Nutrition 21.

During the past 20 years he has held VP of Sales positions with several branded ingredient companies. To that end, he has a wealth of experience in successfully managing and executing the commercialization of patented and proprietary technologies.

"We are happy to welcome Rick to the Aker sales team. His industry experience and track record make him the perfect fit for our organization's needs," said Todd Norton, general manager, Aker BioMarine Antarctic U.S. "He will be instrumental in bringing our krill oil business to the next level."
