NPA's Shaw named a top lobbyist

The Hill newspaper has named John Shaw, Natural Products Association executive director and CEO, as one of the Top Lobbyists 2013 in Washington, D.C.

In its listing, The Hill noted that Shaw “is a leading voice for health and wellness as Washington’s chief advocate for dietary supplements and their producers.” This is the third time the seasoned lobbyist and Capitol Hill veteran has been recognized by The Hill; he was also named to the top lobbyist list in 2012 and 2010.

“It’s a true honor that NPA’s dedicated advocacy team efforts have been acknowledged in this way,” Shaw said. “NPA is staunchly committed to representing our members and the entire natural products industry on Capitol Hill and with federal agencies, and we will continue to work hard to ensure our collective voice is heard. This is an industry comprised of passionate individuals and loyal consumers, and on behalf of the NPA team, I’m proud to fight for our mission of healthy living for all.”
