Company has moved its global sales and marketing HQ and key executives to North America and hired a new VP of global marketing.

OmniActive realigns executive team

In an effort to strengthen global presence and focus on targeted growth segments, OmniActive Health Technologies has moved its global sales and marketing headquarters from Mumbai, India, to Morristown, N.J., relocated key executive team members to North America, and hired a new vice president of global marketing. 

Abhijit Bhattacharya, president of OmniActive Health Technologies, has relocated to the Morristown office, where he will lead the global business, and drive focus on market innovation and growth. Hiren Doshi, head of OmniActive (U.S.) and vice president, will continue to lead the U.S. operations and take responsibility for worldwide sales development.  Chief Technology Officer Jayant Deshpande, Ph.D., will now be located at OmniActive’s International Research and Development Center, which opened March 2012 in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Dr. Deshpande will continue to lead OmnIActive’s global R&D teams to significantly expand OmniActive’s product portfolio.

In addition to these changes, OmniActive hired Lynda Doyle to join its executive team as vice president of global marketing. Doyle will be located at OmniActive’s global sales and marketing headquarters in Morristown, where she will head marketing and communications efforts to enhance awareness of the company’s line of scientifically validated, functional ingredients. 

“As we looked at our worldwide sales goals, it became clear that we needed someone with executive level marketing experience to help us more effectively communicate our strong science, R&D capabilities and understanding of industry drivers to purchasing decision makers. Lynda’s creative marketing and business development leadership is a welcome addition to our executive team,” stated Hiren Doshi, vice president, OmniActive Health Technologies. 

Doyle brings extensive nutrition, marketing and business development experience, having spent the last 25 years working in the dietary supplement and functional food industries with companies including DSM Nutritional Products, Roche Vitamins and BASF Corporation. Doyle most recently served as vice president of business development at Glanbia Nutritionals.
