Robinson Pharma Inc. (RPI) is delighted to announce the hiring of Rebecca Montes in the newly created position of vice president of manufacturing.
Montes brings almost two decades of dietary supplement manufacturing experience and an established record of team leadership, quality improvement, increasing production efficiencies and regulatory compliance, innovation and major projects implementation. She is a veteran softgel manufacturer, with her last 18 years at other Southern California–based softgel facilities where she was responsible for the formulation process development and successful introduction of more than 3,000 products equating to over $1 billion (retail) worth of product. The newly created roll will position Montes as a key leader while RPI continues its fast-paced growth in both existing product capacity and entrance into numerous new delivery systems, packaging formats and business verticals.
RPI has been experiencing very rapid growth, both from existing business lines and from acquisitions, most recently the asset purchase of Creations Garden Natural Products and Northridge Labs. RPI has already expanded into cosmetic and liquid products manufacturing, and has dramatically increased its powder processing capabilities. Additional leadership, specifically the skill set that Montes brings, is required to coordinate these new capabilities and manage the planned expansions of softgel production, hard shell encapsulation, and development of additional dose form manufacturing. Robinson Pharma Inc. is fully committed to a growth plan, underpinned by a commitment to quality, that will create additional new positions for the most capable people in the industry.
Montes commented: “Robinson Pharma’s demonstrated focus on product quality and ambitious growth plan are well aligned with my career path and present a dynamic opportunity. The commitment to personal integrity, eagerness to create value driving partnerships and opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the growth of a world-class manufacturing organization are engaging.”
“We are delighted that Rebecca has joined our team,” stated Tom Nguyen, CEO and founder of RPI. “We look forward to her contribution to our growth and feel that our ability to attract top talent, especially individuals with strong experience in our field, is an endorsement of our current accomplishments and more importantly our future growth plan. We are well positioned to execute against our growth plan and will welcome additional members to our leadership team.”
