Bioenergy D-Ribose Achieves Safety Standard

Integrative life science company Bioenergy, Inc. has achieved GRAS status (generally recognized as safe) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its core energy nutrient D-ribose, a naturally occurring monosaccharide the body uses to stimulate the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) -- an essential energy compound.

The company has held "self-affirmed" GRAS status for years. "Today, we are gratified that the FDA has officially validated our assessment."
