Vitacost.com, Inc. Successfully Completes New FDA Inspection of Manufacturing Facility

BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec 09, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Vitacost.com, Inc., a leading online retailer and direct marketer of health and wellness products, has successfully completed its first Food & Drug Administration (FDA) inspection of its manufacturing operations in Lexington, North Carolina. The FDA conducted an on-site procedural and active production review pursuant to the revised CFR 21 part 111 and made no notice of deficiencies at the facility.
