Ingredient innovator and formulation expert Glanbia Nutritionals will present a range of great-tasting nutritional food and beverage prototypes at this year’s SupplySide West show in Las Vegas. Highlighting its ongoing science-lead innovation and growing range of custom micronutrient premixes and high quality functional ingredients, the focus at the show is on functionality, advanced nutrition and specialty ingredients.

On stand beverage prototypes will include an Acai Ancient Grain Smoothie with Chromax® chromium picolinate and Vitacholine™ for cognitive and memory support. BevGrad® Chia provides enhanced mouthfeel and nutrition, while SelectSorghum™ Pre-Gel improves suspension properties in the beverage. The smoothie also features PhytoForce™ Curcumin Peptones which improves the solubility and delivery of curcumin.

Visitors to the Glanbia Nutritionals’ stand will also be able to sample Fatigue Fighter Energy Shots, fortified with fast-acting, energy-boosting PepForm® Fatigue Fighter peptides. The inclusion of PhytoForce Green Tea Extract provides a further natural form of energy, while CarniPure™ carnitine supports sustained energy. To improve nutrient availability and fight fatigue, the energy shot also contains pTeroPure® pterostilbene to help support healthy blood flow. Both of the beverages being showcased at SSW can be manufactured and packaged at Glanbia Nutritionals’ recent acquisition, Aseptic Solutions USA.

For healthier snacking, Chocolate Toffee Flax Bars contain GenedenBC30®, a processing and shelf-stable probiotic that supports digestive and immune health. The nutritional profile of the bars is further enhanced with BevGrad® super-fine milled flax. In addition, the inclusion of OptiSol™ 2000 delivers strong binding properties while reducing sugar by up to 50 percent. Continuing the healthy indulgence theme, Glanbia Nutritionals is also presenting Citrus Protein Chew samples, formulated with BevWise™ I-300W to aid stability during processing, help with flavor expression and demonstrate the breadth of applications that protein can be used in. The chews are also fortified with Setria® glutathione, an antioxidant ingredient which helps protect against oxidative stress.
