Ingredients by Nature, a leading ingredient supplier and toll-service provider, has announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with ICC Brazil and Angel Yeast Co. to supply superior quality, food-grade nutritional yeast ingredients for the U.S. supplement and nutritional foods market.

The first ingredient to be rolled out is selenium yeast. 

Glycon Santos, director of ICC Brazil, describes, "In terms of the quality of selenium yeast our material contains very high organic selenium content. For example, on a 2,000 ppm selenium yeast our material has at least 50 percent of seleno-methionine; one of the highest available."

Selenium is a necessary trace mineral and has been widely studied for its contributions to human health, such as its ability to help support a healthy prostate.
