New Healthmune+ Junior features Wellmune

Immune-boosting chocolate sachet for children combines Wellmune with prebiotics and probiotics.

Wellmune, a clinically proven immune boosting super fiber, is a key ingredient in Healthmune+ Junior, a newly launched sachet that contains blended prebiotic and probiotic with coca powder.

This delicious product is the first from the Malaysia-based Eu Yan Sang developed specifically to support immune function and overall health of children age one and older. The coca flavored powder is a fun and easy way for children to get the daily immune support they need by mixing a serving with water or milk, or by pouring it directly on the tongue.

“With a developing immune system and continued exposure to new health challenges, young children are particularly good candidates for the everyday immune support,” said Ms. Yap Chai Hwa, assistant product development manager at Eu Yan Sang. “Wellmune’s unmatched clinical research that demonstrates the ingredient’s ability to enhance key immune functions in children, make it an ideal ingredient for moms and families looking to safely and effectively support their children’s overall health and wellness.”

Wellmune is a baker’s yeast beta glucan that safely activates innate immune cells that help keep the body healthy. Numerous clinical studies with Wellmune support its ability to maintain health and wellness. One study published in Pediatrics found that toddlers consuming a formula containing Wellmune had better respiratory health than children consuming an unfortified cow’s milk-based beverage.

“Research shows that Wellmune helps strengthen the natural defenses of children by promoting a healthy immune system,” said Richard G. Mueller, chief executive officer of Biothera. “A strong immune system is integral to a child’s overall health and well-being. As a key ingredient in Healthmune+ Junior, Wellmune can help children be well and stay well.”

Healthmune+ Junior is available in Eu Yan Sang stores throughout Malaysia.
