Organic spinach powder

NP Nutra today announced the release of its new Organic Spinach Powder for use in functional foods, drinks, tablets, capsules and powdered supplements. Spinach is a very good source of vitamins and minerals such as iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper and manganese. Spinach is also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and protein. Air-dried Lemon Peel comes as a powder or granule, and works well in topical seasoning mixes, marinades and glazes. Bilberry cosmetics ingredient in development

DianaPlantSciences and Solabia are teaming up to develop a cosmetic ingredient based on an extract of bilberry derived from plant cell culture.DianaPlantSciences, a player in concentrated actives’ production, has signed an agreement with Solabia, a manufacturer of natural and vegetal ingredients. The agreement focuses on the production of a novel bilberry extract dedicated to the cosmetic industry. DianaPlantSciences will supply Solabia with bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) cells rich in polyphenols, especially in procyanidins, which are almost colorless compared to the anthocyanins found in bilberry and blueberry extracts. Solabia will bring its expertise in extracting natural vegetal actives, its know-how in substantiating the benefits of bioactives and its marketing experience. DianaPlantSciences and Solabia exhibited at the In-Cosmetics Tradeshow in Paris from April 16 - 18, 2013.
