Cargill’s CoroWise(TM) cholesterol reducer brand to co-sponsor 2006 Life Time Fitness Triathlon

MINNEAPOLIS – Cargill’s CoroWise™ brand Naturally Sourced Cholesterol ReducerTM is co-sponsoring the 2006 Life Time Fitness Triathlon in Minneapolis on July 15. This is the fifth consecutive year that Cargill has supported the growing event, which boasts a $500,000 purse for professional athletes. More than 2,500 athletes, including 44 of the world’s best professional tri-athletes, will participate.

Triathlon competitors will swim in Lake Nokomis, bike around the scenic Mississippi River Parkway, and finish the race on foot through quaint urban neighborhoods, ending near Lake Nokomis. NBC Sports will provide television coverage of the event. The race offers an Olympic course and a short-course to provide 11 different race options that encourage participation from a wide range of athletes.
