Carlson Labs launches Ceylon Cinnamon

Carlson Laboratories announces the release of its newest product, Ceylon Cinnamon. Cinnamon has been used since ancient times (as early as 2800 B.C.) to promote optimal health, and it is mentioned in one of the earliest books on Chinese botanical medicine. Most of us know cinnamon as a common spice used in cooking, but it also can have extraordinary health benefits.  arlson Ceylon Cinnamon is not your every day cinnamon, as it is derived from the bark of the plant Cinnamomum Zeylanicum—known as the only “true cinnamon.”

There are two main forms of cinnamon, cassia and ceylon, but unlike cinnamon you might have at home, known as cassia, Carlson Ceylon Cinnamon is coumarin-free, making it the ideal form for daily consumption. Recent research has demonstrated that cinnamon helps maintain normal blood glucose levels already within a normal range.

“This product is just another example of how we are working to meet the needs of our customers,” said Carlson President Carilyn Anderson. “We took the time to develop a quality product!”
