Devansoy Facility Purchase Investment in Future Benesoy™ Growth

Devansoy is proud to announce that as of January 19, 2009, it is the sole owner and operator of the Devansoy production plant in Rock City, IL. The soymilk facility had been jointly operated by Berner Foods and Devansoy. By assuming complete ownership and management of this plant, Devansoy strengthens its ability to meet the growing demand for the company’s organic and non-GMO liquid soy base, soymilk powders, and other Benesoy ingredients.

The 94,000 square foot facility is one of the largest liquid soy base production facilities in North America. Devansoy’s acquisition, which includes 32.5 acres of land, allows for exceptional growth and expansion flexibility.

“This evolutionary step for Devansoy provides an increased ability to address new and exciting opportunities,” stated Elmer Schettler, President and Founder of Devansoy. “Most importantly, this commitment allows Devansoy to provide even greater service to our customers.”
