Herbalife execs to present at Innovation Conference

Key Herbalife executives will present as part of the education portion of the 2014 Innovation Conference in Las Vegas.

Herbalife, a leading global nutrition company, has announced that key Herbalife executives will be presenting as part of the education portion of its Innovation Conference on Oct. 5 to 6, 2014, in Las Vegas. Dr. Luigi Gratton, vice president of worldwide product marketing, will be presenting Herbalife's Nutrition Philosophy to help explain the direction the company is moving with regard to new products and concepts. The discussion will cover the specific areas of macronutrients, micronutrients, phytonutrients, hydration, fiber, beauty care and general wellness.

Herbalife invites companies, entrepreneurs and nutrition industry visionaries to apply to present their product ideas to top Herbalife executives at the North American Innovation conference. Herbalife has a strong interest in cultivating the flow of new ideas, which include novel ingredients and technologies, in order to create new products and identify new ingredients for their existing product line and potential line extensions. This is a 1.5 day event that hosted by Herbalife and co-managed by Herbalife, Nutrition Business Advisors and Nutrition Capital Network.

The application process is free and due by Sept. 8, 2014. For applications, please visit surveymonkey.com/s/HLFSSW2014.

The conference precedes SupplySide West. Finalists will be announced by Sept. 11, 2014, and will be invited to the conference.

Each company will be assigned a mentor to help develop their presentation prior to the conference.

Post-event mentoring from a Herbalife executive will be available on a case-by-case basis and all selected candidates will be considered for an investment by Herbalife, or for another type of collaboration with Herbalife.

A selection committee of Herbalife, NBA and NCN executives will evaluate and interact with applicants when determining the invited companies.
