MegaFood recieves OK Kosher certification

MegaFood began reformulating many product ingredients in 2007 to prepare for this internationally respected symbol of kosher approval.

MegaFood has become one of the first whole-food supplement product lines to become certified kosher by OK Kosher Certification, the most respected symbols of kosher approval worldwide.

There are more than 12 million consumers who prefer to purchase kosher products in the United States. The OK Kosher Certification Circle K symbol (a circle surrounding the letter K) identifies products made without meat, dairy or any derivatives of those foods. It has been a symbol of excellence in kosher products since 1935.

MegaFood started the reformulation of many of its product ingredients in 2007 to prepare for OK Kosher Certification. Starting in September, 95 percent of MegaFoods' whole food supplement line will carry the OK Kosher Certification Circle K seal.

"We will be coming to MegaFood once a month to keep an eye on the products," says Rabbi Levi Krinsky, the local Manchester, N.H. representative for OK Kosher Certification. "MegaFood has established a high standard by incorporating the Circle K seal on their products."

MegaFood's whole food supplements are crafted from farm-fresh, local foods using a unique process that delivers authentic nourishment from the food, and not just vitamins alone. The addition of the Circle K seal to the product line is just another step in MegaFood's commitment to providing the highest level of purity possible to its customers.
