James Lake Farms certified-organic cranberries will be featured in MegaFood’s Pure Cranberry Supplement and Farm Fresh Phenolic Blend.

MegaFood, a leading whole food supplement producer, today announced a partnership with James Lake Farms to include the family farm’s certified organic cranberries in its Pure Cranberry supplement as well as its Farm Fresh Fruit Phenolic blend. The partnership will be announced via the second episode of MegaFood’s Transparency Project.

MegaFood’s Pure Cranberry supplement is designed to support immune defense and urinary tract health naturally, and the Farm Fresh Fruit Phenolic blend is found in many products in MegaFood’s whole food nutrient booster powder line, including Daily Purify™ and Daily C-Protect.

“We believe in partnering with family farms that share our values, and during a recent trip to the marshes in Wisconsin, we were overwhelmed with the hospitality, values and commitment of the Stauner family and James Lake Farms’ commitment to organic farming,” said Robert U. Craven, CEO of MegaFood. “We are committed to using real whole foods from farms, such as James Lake, because they are committed to growing with great care and protecting our earth for generations to come.”

The James Lake Farms organic cranberry marsh is located in Northern Wisconsin, and grows five different fruit varieties across 64 acres of marsh beds. Originally started in the 1950s, James Lake Farms has a rich history of growing and farming innovations, and is committed to continuing this tradition by adopting the best and most effective organic growing methods.

“As organic farmers, we believe in protecting the natural integrity of the food we grow and the land on which we grow it,” said John Stauner, owner of James Lake Farms. “MegaFood believes as strongly as we do in these values and we’re proud to be partnering with them.”

MegaFood has been making whole food supplements with farm fresh food for 40 years, and is committed to sourcing fresh and local foods from family owned farms throughout the United States and Canada to deliver the most wholesome nutrition.
