Flex Pro ES brings together astaxanthin and three functional ingredients for joint support—now in gummy form.

Valensa International has launched and is shipping a new joint health gummy based on its existing Flex Pro ES™ joint health product, previously only available in capsules. Flex Pro ES Gummy was developed to provide near- and long-term joint health support using Inulin plus four potent joint health ingredients: Zanthin® Natural Astaxanthin, BiovaFlex™ Water-Soluble Egg Shell Membrane, Boswellia and a proprietary form of Hyaluronic acid. The patent-pending formula avoids using chondroitin and glucosamine/MSM, which have questionable efficacy, a high pill burden and can cause swallowing difficulties. The naturally flavored joint health gummy has excellent “mouth feel” and taste, is sugar-free, non-GMO and gluten-free. Recommended usage is three gummies per day to support joint health, and consuming up to six gummies per day is acceptable. The product will be licensed to select marketing companies in a number of consumer channels.

Astaxanthin plus three functional ingredients provides joint health advantages
Flex Pro ES is a comprehensive alternative to chondroitin- and glucosamine-based products for joint health. Valensa believes that consumers who have not found relief with glucosamine and chondroitin containing products will be pleasantly surprised by the great taste of Flex Pro ES Gummies as well as the joint comfort attainable with this product.
The new gummy contains the potent antioxidant Zanthin® Natural Astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is known to suppress the production of known inflammatory markers in humans such as TNF-alpha, and prostaglandin E-2 and inhibits nitric oxide synthase (NOS) expression of nitric acid production.
BiovaFlex™ is an all-natural ingredient, rich in elastin, collagen and glycosaminoglycans, designed to support the stability and flexibility of joints. Human clinical trials have indicated that this ingredient alone produces positive and statistically significant results within 30 days, including functional flexibility improvement and reduction in joint discomfort. 
Boswellia is an Ayurvedic herb associated with reduced inflammation. Its properties are associated with boswellic acid, a known 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) inhibitor with documented anti-inflammatory properties. Published research suggests that boswellia may also improve the structure of cartilage. 

Additional performance is provided by a proprietary Hyaluronic acid (HA), which is the major hydrodynamic component of joint synovial fluid, providing lubrication and shock absorbance. Additionally, anti-inflammatory properties of HA mitigate activities of pro-inflammatory mediators, stimulate immune response and may reduce overall inflammation. The HA used in this formula is produced by fermentation.
