Honest Tea Co-founder Seth Goldman to Give Keynote
Beverly Hills, CA – Sponsorships and nominations are now open for the 11th Annual Socially Responsible Business Awards, which will be presented during Natural Products Expo East in Washington DC, Friday September 16, 2005 8:30 – 10:00 AM at the Renaissance Hotel. Seth Goldman, cofounder of Honest Tea, will give this year’s keynote speech, which at this event is known for being interesting and inspiring.
This popular industry event celebrates applying the best human qualities to business practices. Award recipients and sponsors alike are acknowledged for their commitment to remembering and celebrating the industry’s roots.
Nominations are open until August 15 for companies with exceptional track records in ethics, accountability, governance, employment practices, business relationships, financial return, products and services, community involvement and environmental protection.
Once a company is nominated, they are invited to submit information on their efforts and successes addressing the nine award criteria noted above. The panel of independent judges then reviews the nominations and makes their selections.
Because the majority of the companies who would be eligible for the award are also loyal sponsors, the policy has been for some years that sponsorship does not preclude winning the SRB Award.
Golden Temple Bakery, manufacturer of Peace Cereals; Sunshine Spa and Soothing Touch Health and Beauty Products; and the Yogi Tea Company sponsor this annual non-profit event.
Co-sponsors are invited to participate. Sponsorship levels are: Socially Responsible $1,500, Humanitarian $750, Good Samaritan $500 with each offering various levels of exposure. Sponsorship fees go to pay the expenses of this free breakfast event.
Forms for nominations and sponsorship can be obtained by emailing event coordinator Jill Ettinger at [email protected] or call 305-797-5455.
