BALTIMORE, MD (May 1, 2006) – The Socially Responsible Business Awards (SRBA) is now accepting applications for sponsorships of its 12th Annual event, to be held on Friday, October 6, 2006, from 8:00 – 9:30 AM at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, MD.
This free annual event, held in conjunction with Natural Products Expo East and open to all members of the natural products industry, honors the highest human ideals applied to business practices. SRBA recipients demonstrate exceptional track records in ethics, accountability, governance, employment practices, business relationships, financial return, products and services, community involvement and environmental protection. The keynote speaker is always a business leader at the forefront of the socially responsible business movement.
Sponsorship of the 2006 SRBA Breakfast aligns industry companies and organizations with other like-minded businesses in supporting socially responsible and sustainable business practices, creating community around these issues. Sponsorship also provides those companies with a unique opportunity to promote their own socially responsible and sustainable initiatives to the natural products industry through pre-event marketing and promotion, on-site and online recognition, and post show trade media editorial coverage. Sponsorship does not preclude winning the award.
Levels of sponsorship are:
Gold Associate Sponsor $1,200
Silver Co-sponsor $ 600
Bronze Co-sponsor $ 350
Co-sponsors may also donate food and beverage items to be served at the breakfast.
Golden Temple Bakery, the manufacturer of Peace Cereals; Sunshine Spa and Soothing Touch Health and Beauty Products; and the Yogi Tea Company organize and sponsor the annual breakfast event. Co-sponsors of the 2005 SRBA event included Nancy’s Cultured Dairy and Soy, New Hope Natural Media, United Natural Foods, White Wave, and Wild Oats Markets. SRBA winners in 2005 were NOW Foods, Inc.; Organic India (distributed in the US by OM Organics); Dr. Bronner’s; and Dagoba Chocolates.
