Natural Products Association MarketPlace 2012 brought retailers and manufacturers of natural products together to create new business opportunities, listen to product pitches and attend educational sessions about the latest developments in the industry. The official event of the Natural Products Association produced by New Hope Natural Media, NPA MarketPlace engaged 5,000 industry members on a show floor of 219 exhibits, 79 exhibitors of which were first timers this year.
“It was great to meet and talk with valued NPA members and friends at NPA MarketPlace. A big thank you goes out to all the attendees. Your support is very much appreciated,” said NPA Executive Director and CEO John Shaw. “I appreciate the hard work done by NPA staff and our partners at New Hope to make this event a success. I’m excited and looking forward to an even better event next year.”
“Seeing the show floor abuzz with new products sales and the conference rooms full of inquisitive attendees plays to the strength and ability of this industry to grow and this show to act as an incubator stimulating that growth. I am excited and proud to be a part of it and look forward to maintaining our important relationship with the Natural Products Association to produce this event,” said Erica Stone, show director, New Hope Natural Media.
Retailers and manufacturers praised the value of NPA MarketPlace:
“I’ve been coming to NPA MarketPlace for ten years. I like the show because you can talk to exhibitors, get a lot of product knowledge. That is important to me. I also love the education here. You can ask a question!” –Steve Bridge, Ivy’s Bridge to Better Health, Tustin, Calif.
“I had tremendous response for my products and lots of support at the show. So many people who want our products are requesting them from distributors here at the show. We’ve developed great industry partnerships. This was our very first show (with New Hope) and I found it a great one to come and learn the ropes.” –Sonia Faber, Blossom Fine Foods, Salt Lake City
“I appreciated having non-partial experts in different fields as the speakers. The seminars were educational as opposed to being a sales pitch. I also liked that most of the educational seminars where scheduled at different times than the show floor hours, allowing a retailer to take advantage of both.” –Malu Miki, Abundant Life Natural Foods, Hilo, Hawaii
