The Natural Health Product Research Society of Canada (NHPRS) is pleased to announce its 5th Annual NHP Research Conference & Trade Show to be held March 26–29, 2008 in Toronto, ON, Canada. This 3-day event entitled, “Science Across Borders Global Natural Health Products Research” will feature cutting-edge peer-reviewed natural health product research, invited plenary lectures from leading experts across scientific disciplines, and fabulous networking opportunities to create partnerships and collaborations.
The key objectives of the Conference will be to traverse borders (jurisdictional, disciplinary, or cultural), to explore current trends in NHP research and stimulate new research paradigms. The NHPRS mission, to facilitate and support meaningful and scientifically rigorous research that best enables informed and appropriate use of safe, efficacious, and of high quality natural health products, promises to be well furthered by this must-attend event for all those in the natural health products research community.
NHPRS is pleased to present the 2008 conference program, featuring the “Grand Master” of pharmacognosy Dr. Norman Farnsworth and a slate of world class scientists including Dr. Xin-min Liu, Dr. Rosario Rojas, Dr. Ed Croom, Dr. Pierre Haddad and Dr. Bruce Holub.
