9th Annual Socially Responsible Business Awards Seeking Sponsors, Nominations

Beverly Hills, CA – Sponsorships and nominations are now open for the 9th Annual Socially Responsible Business Awards, which will be presented during Natural Products Expo East in Washington DC, September 2003. This popular industry event celebrates applying the best human qualities to business practices.

Nominations are open for companies with exceptional track records in ethics, accountability, governance, employment practices, business relationships, financial return, products and services, community involvement and environmental protection. All nominations must be made by June 30, 2003.

Once a company is nominated, they are sent nomination notification along with a request for information on the nine award criteria. The deadline for nominees to return their questionnaire is July 30, 2003. The panel of independent judges then reviews the nominations and makes their selections.

Because the majority of the companies who would be eligible for the award are also loyal sponsors, the policy has been for some years that sponsorship does not preclude winning the Award.

This annual non-profit event is sponsored by Golden Temple Bakery, manufacturer of Peace Cereals; Sunshine Spa and Soothing Touch Health and Beauty Products; and the Yogi Tea Company.

Co-sponsors are invited to participate. Sponsorship levels are: Gold Associate Sponsor $1,200, Silver Co-sponsor $600, Bronze Co-sponsor $350. Sponsorship fees go to pay the expenses of this free breakfast event.

Forms for nominations and sponsorship can be obtained by emailing [email protected] or contact Event Coordinator Siri Atma S. Khalsa at Socially Responsible Business Awards, 9190 W Olympic Blvd #265, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, phone (310) 275-9891, fax (831) 854-9138, e-mail [email protected].
