Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Receives Commitment to Raise $500,000 From a Private Investor; Company Has Already Received $100,000 Funding

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 2003--Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (APPI), a company that utilizes whole plants through a proprietary (patent pending) manufacturing process to develop all-natural Whole Plant Pharmaceuticals and Nutritionals, is pleased to announce that the company has received from a private investor a commitment to raise $500,000 for the company through a private placement. The investor has already forwarded to the company $100,000, the balance will be forwarded to the company by November 15, 2003.

With the following initiatives announced recently, the company deemed it prudent to strengthen its balance sheet in order to have the financial flexibility to advance its business plan on a broad front:

-- Building Lo-Chol(TM) sales nationally and internationally
through a media marketing campaign with its marketing partner.

-- Developing the Sinusol(TM) Market nationally and
internationally with marketing partners

-- Filing patent applications to protect the proprietary value of
the company's products
