(March 25, 2008) — The American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) welcomes eight new members to the association’s Board of Trustees and congratulates the officers elected at the Board’s March 13 meeting in Anaheim, Calif.
Edward J. Fletcher, president, Strategic Sourcing, was re-elected Board Chair. Neways International’s Monzur Ahmed was re-elected Vice Chair, and Traditional Medicinals’ Katie Huggins and Vitality Works’ Mitch Coven were re-elected as Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.
Joining in the vote for the officers were the eight members freshly elected by their AHPA peers: Cindy Angerhoffer (Aveda Corporation), Rupa Das (BI Nutraceuticals), Daniel Gagnon (Herbs, Etc.), Jackie Greenfield (Gaia Herbs), Richard Kaufman (Paragon Laboratories), Wilson Lau (Nuherbs Co.), Tom Newmark (New Chapter, Inc.) and Volker Wypyszyk (MB North America).
